Find News Here

You may be asking yourself, where could I possibly find good sources for articles? Good starting points for great news? Look no further...

Smoke Signals, your school paper, encourages you to talk to them about what is going on, and might let you use thier stories. Get connected, people.

Major News Outlets use the following sources, you could too: PR Newswire (note, don't do products), Reuters, Associated Press.

You might get good stuff from National Public Radio's website or the Public Broadcasting Service.

You might want something that will turn heads: Project Censored keeps track of news stories that at least one news outlet has censored from the "airwaves", and might deserve attention... And Project Vote Smart claims to be an independent agency that makes public crucial elections information, like who is bankrolling various campaigns and ballot initiatives.

Announcers Test

One hen
Two ducks
Three squawking geese
Four Limerick oysters
Five corpulent porpoises
Six pairs of Don Alverzo's tweezers
Seven thousand Macedonians in full battle array
Eight brass monkeys from the ancient, sacred crypts of Egypt
Nine apathetic, sympathetic, diabetic old men on roller skates with a marked propensity towards procrastination and sloth
Ten lyrical, spherical, diabolical denizens of the deep who haul stall around the corner of the quo of the quay of the quivery, all at the same time.
